Creating Web2.0 Logos Using Photoshop

Wondering how Logo'sin Web2.0 are designed??? Its rather simple. Here we will be using Styles in Photoshop as well. Using styles will make our work rather easy and fast. Task depends on how your style going to look or how you want your logo to look.

Difficult part is designing the styles. Once your style is ready, simple apply the style to your logo and there you go.

First you should design your style.

Creating A Style:

Open a new document in Photoshop. In a new layer, Draw some text.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Open Layer properties. Stylize your layer as you wish. I made somehting like this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

I applied Stroke - 5, Outside, White and Gradient Overlay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you are done with style, Click the 'New Style' button on this Layer Style Dialog. Give a name for the Style. Once you save it, it will be displayed under 'Styles' tab of Photoshop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see, our style is part of Photoshop now. This is all it makes to create your own style.

Once you are done with it, Create your logo Text in a new Layer and apply this Layer Style to it. Its as simple as that.
